d-Lecture
- digitalised content
d-lecture
is a uniquely cost efficient RichMedia system to digitalise content
for presentation on the internet, live or on-demand. D-lecture has
been developed in co-operation with the Universität Bremen
and the (private) International University Bremen to digitalise
lectures and to provide the students with an additional means to
support their learning efforts.
D-lecture presents in high quality the vocal part of a lecture,
the supporting slides and powerpoint presentations, background papers
and additional notes, tests, simulations, experiments, etc. ...
Beyond
the digitalisation of university lectures the system can be modified
and used as well for a large variety of other types of content presentations:
e.g. the presentation of products, user manuals, the visualisation
of complex technical processes, etc.

The
screenshots show four windows:
-
a video window shows the lecturer
- a larger window opposite to him shows the silde in use in a readable
size
- a third window shows the table of content of the entire lecture
(1 semester),
- a forth window shows all the slides of the entire lecture
The
viewer can start with the lecture at the beginning and follow "da
capo al fine"
(which nobody usually does),
alternatively, he can jump into the lecture by clicking at a certain
content from the table of content or by clicking at a certain slide
from the slide-folder. The video will show the lecturer discussing
the selected content, the supporting slides will be shown in the
larger slide window.
The screen shows buttons students may click at to to access addditional
notes or links provided by the lecturer, there is a "help"-function
and as well an integrated mailfunction to contact the lecturer.
