Software

Individual sequences
of the multi-media based d-Lecture presentations can be directly
accessed and optionally be fast-forwarded and rewound.
In
order to apply d-Lecture you simply need a standard PC incl. sound
card (and loudspeaker/ earphones) and a DSL- or LAN-Internet
access. Screen resolution should be set to 1024x768 pixel.
You can watch d-Lecture courses by means of standard applications,
which are available in the internet free of charge.
In order to watch the video-clips you have to have the Windows
Media Player installed. Presentations are displayed in the internet
browser (e.g. Microsoft Internet Explorer as of version 5.5).

d-Lecture format is divided into following areas:

Video
domain
The player is embedded into the webbrowser. It can be operated by
the toolbar arranged below the video display:
- play
- pause
- stop
- return to beginning
- to the end
- audio on/off
- volume
- scroll inside of the video
- cue-pay
Additional functions
are available by right hand point-and-click within the video display
(e.g. full-screen of video display, break by using the ESC pushbutton).

Presentation-screen
By using the control elements at the bottom you can toggle in-between
the pictures. Moreover, pictures can be put to full-screen size. |

Toolbar
Upon starting d-lecture a "description" (title, description,
date, speaker/instructor, email...) is automatically indicated.
The "structure" button leads to several chapters
which enable you to directly access individual video and presentation
sections. This operation is also available by using the pushbutton
"slide". You may navigate through the whole lecture
by using the slide thumbnails area.
You can access more information locally or a web page by using the
"links" button.
By using the "search" button you can search for terms and
definitions within the presentation.
By using the "instructions" button you will open
